ST. LOUIS, MO – Beginning January 2020, Cardinal Orthodontics will be accepting applications on behalf of their new partnership with Start a Smile Foundation. The Start a Smile Foundation was founded in Kansas City in 2009, where over $2,000,000 worth of free braces have been awarded to deserving children ages 17 and younger. Dr. James Galea was a part of Start a Smile Foundation while working in Kansas City at Fry Orthodontic Specialists and he wants to bring this great program to his Cardinal Orthodontics practices in St. Louis.

“At Cardinal Orthodontics we believe your smile is just the start of many great things in life,” says Cardinal Orthodontics owner, Dr. James Galea. “A beautiful smile can provide someone the extra boost of confidence to accomplish all of their hopes and dreams. We are excited to announce that we will be awarding 16 sets of free braces per year to deserving children in the St. Louis metro and surrounding cities.”

As a growing business, Cardinal Orthodontics believes that it is their professional and social mission to better the lives of those around them through the gift of a smile. There are no hidden fees in the program, and each scholarship winner will receive free retainers for life once completed with treatment. This ensures that their new smile will last them a lifetime.
